WOMEN UNITED celebrates the power of women to bring about positive change in our communities through philanthropy and service. We are an ambitious, grassroots model grounded in the belief that addressing the most critical local needs lifts the community as a whole. Members speak up, unite, and take action on issues that hit closest to home.

There are over 70,000 members across the United States in 163 local United Ways.
Inception-to-date, our collective fundraising totals over $1 billion!

In LaPorte County, we are a group of philanthropic leaders dedicated to making a lasting difference in our local community. Our local chapter is a vibrant, diverse and regional force of women leaders helping to mobilize the caring power of women in LaPorte County to advance the common good and eliminate generational poverty.

After carefully considering potential impact areas, our local WOMEN UNITED has chosen to focus on Promoting Financial Stability and Independence in LaPorte County. We are committed to building a stronger financial future for individuals and families. Rising prices and job instability paint a gloomy picture, but we believe we can help hard-working families put their lives back together. United Ways’ efforts to provide solutions are making a difference around the globe. Here at home, our local efforts benefit from the energy and commitment of our women who LIVE UNITED.
