	United Way of LaPorte County impacts your community by bringing health and human service programs to LaPorte County that unite area nonprofits. Below are the programs that are a part of our Community Impact Initiative.These programs are designed to get at the root causes of problems so that people in need can lead more productive, self-sufficient lives.

Giving to the United Way of LaPorte County Community Fund is the most powerful way to invest in your community. Your gift is used to fund our 27 partner agencies.

Funds are distributed based on community need as assessed by a local, volunteer Allocation Committee.
